Celebration and Revival breakout took place in Augusta Maine at the Capitol State Park over Memorial Day weekend 2024. Two back-to-back separate Christian events dominated the Capitol State Park within a few hundred feet of the Maine Capitol. Most rational people see this as an abhorrent attack on parental responsibilities and rights to protect their children from political agendas and abuse.
Christians across Maine, as The Body of Christ, finally began speaking out and standing against this evil assault on God’s precious design of life. Christians began the difficult road of taking back terrain relinquished to the enemy of our souls. With dangerous bills like Maine LD 227 on the books, Christians are compelled to act, as we are called to do in scripture: 13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.” Luke 19:13 KJV. Jesus commands us to occupy in faith until He comes.
Military occupation, also called belligerent occupation or simply occupation, which Wikipedia defines as “the temporary control exerted by a ruling power’s military apparatus over a sovereign territory that is outside of the legal boundaries of that ruling power’s own sovereign territory.[1][2][3][4] The controlled territory is then known as the occupied territory.”
As Christians we must occupy the terrain, the government, the ideas, debates, and all facets of American life, as we have done since the US Declarations of Independence, Bill of Rights and Constitution were enacted by our Founders based on their Christian faith.
On Saturday May 25th the Central Church of Maine filled the Capitol State Park with nearly 1000 worshipers to declare their love for the Lord Jesus. The event was truly blessed with God’s presence as the evening temperature was a perfect mid 70’s graced by a refreshing breeze. The 3-hour event yielded 26 baptisms, an hour of worship songs, and great fellowship. Despite the evil unleased in the world today, The Body of Christ would not be denied its baptismal celebrations that day.
On Sunday May 26th Sean Feucht, the leader of the Let Us Worship movement, held a revival at the Maine Capitol State Park. This day was god’s gift of a repeat of the same beautiful weather as the day before. Sean Feucht is best known for his defiance against Governor Newsom’s church signing ban during Covid lockdowns. Sean Feucht organized the highly successful July 9, 2020 Golden Gate Bridge worship event which turned into the national phenomenal Let Us Worship revival movement. Sean is considered by many to be a warrior worship leader who understands the spiritual battle between the forces of good and evil facing America. Sean leads a powerful weapon of the faithful worshipping and standing against a mass destruction campaign by the enemy of our souls.
During this revival, nearly two thousand Christians participated in an Altar call, placing their sins on the Altar before God and Christ seeking forgiveness in the Lord. The same two thousand Christ followers participated in the Lord’s supper with the Maine State Capitol building in view.
The Memorial Day 2024 weekend in Maine was truly earth-shaking and signifies an incredible turning of the tide in a long, drawn-out war for man’s souls. Often in the bible we see God command his children to use unorthodox weapons to fight the enemy. For example, Gideon’s army of only 300 men against thousands of the enemy used pots, lamps and horns. Joshua’s army marched around Jericho and shouted to take the enemy down. Unusual times call for unusual weapons and tactics to win. We all need to turn back to God’s Word for directions, tactics, discernment and wisdom.
Embrace God’s Great Awakening and commit today to take an active part. You have the ability in God to wield weapons of great power that are sharper and more powerful than any swords. Worship as part of groups of believers is one such weapon of mass repeal of attacks by the enemies of our souls. Worship confuses the enemy and his followers, and is the Biblical directive to resist the devil and cause him to flee.
