REVIVAL OF THE AMERICAN SPIRIT
In the wake of the great devastation of Hurricane Helene, the people of North Carolina and those who have come to help them, are rediscovering the American spirit that made this country GREAT: grit, determination, strength of body and mind, courage in the face of adversity, perseverance in the face of obstacles, creativity, humility, and faith in our Creator. All those responding to help these states wrecked by the Hurricane have set a stunning –and Christ-like—example of neighborly love.
This is America!
America is made of strong, caring and beautifully stubborn people who take care of their neighbors regardless of differences. In all the many stories of tragedy there is an overwhelming theme shining through.
American’s rediscovering their American Spirit!
Just as a lump of coal turns into a diamond with extreme high temperatures and pressures, Americans are rediscovering their most important attribute: FAITH Over Fear as the foundation of The American Spirit, which has propelled us forward throughout our history, and made us a “Powerhouse” among all nations. Tragic events often force us all to focus on what is really important in life, an appreciation for what we do have, and courage to defend it from all attacks.
This 2 min video “I Am A Powerhouse” describes what happened after this 80 year old man in North Carolina was rescued after 19 days alone in his home. We urge you to listen and be encouraged and inspired
Let us all reflect on these powerful words and stand firm in our great Nation as across America we face threats to our homes, communities, our lives, and all our freedoms given us by our Creator that make us feel we are losing our homes and our way of life: When asked if he was ready to go to a shelter, this 80-year old man replied: “NO, this is my home. I am a powerhouse. No one is taking me from this land, no one is taking me from my home.”
AMEN.

Romans 5:3-5 NKJV “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
