President Trump’s move to raise tariffs on Chinese goods to 145% is more than an economic decision — it is a spiritual and patriotic stand for fairness, sovereignty, and the American worker. For too long, globalist policies and predatory trade deals have turned our economy into a den of thieves — where foreign profiteers exploit our markets, gut our industries, and leave our communities hollowed out.
Just as Christ entered the temple and flipped over the tables of the moneychangers who corrupted sacred space for personal gain (Mark 11:15–18), this moment in President Trumps administration marks a
cleansing of the economic order from the control of modern-day moneychangers and hypocritical Pharisees.
Tariffs are not punishment. Tariffs are today’s version of justice that Christ brought to the Temple in his day. Tariffs are a way to restore the Biblical commandment for honest scales, to protect our people, and to prioritize the people and economy of America, which built the greatest industrial engine benefiting the most people that the world has ever seen.
The evidence is clear. America has both 1)the moral authority to act in accordance with Old and New Testament Biblical principles, and 2) the economic and market leverage to act. Both of these grounds for action are explained in detail in the attached policy and biblical tariff documents, as well as this episode of our Whistleblower Report.
America buys billions more dollars in goods from China than China buys from the US — as evidenced by the massive trade deficit America has with China. The deficit holder nation has far more leverage than does the nation holding the surplus. In short, the stark reality is that China needs the US market for its economy to survive than America needs China’s goods. China is an exporter nation. For their factories to remain open and workers to be paid.
China needs to continue exporting. In the face of the heavy Trump Tariffs, exports from China are already brought to a near standstill, orders from overseas are cancelled, factories are idle, and workers have been sent home without pay. China made a serious mistake in retaliating against its biggest marketplace for its goods.
China’s mistake has been intensified with the Trump team, since their opponent in the negotiation is President Trump, one of the shrewdest and most successful business negotiators in our time.
President Trump’s retaliatory Tariffs plan is specifically designed to level the playing field and bring manufacturing back home. They support middle-class jobs, reduce our dangerous dependence on China, and fulfill our national security mandate to produce vital goods within our own borders. They are specifically NOT punitive or pre-emptive, which is often the case with tariffs. All any country needs to do to be free of US-imposed tariffs is to decrease or eliminate their own tariffs on America. It really is that SIMPLE.
Trump’s retaliatory Tariffs policy also reflects righteousness: Proverbs 11:1 declares that “a false balance is abomination to the Lord.” The current global system, riddled with economic deceit and exploitation, is that false balance — and it must be corrected.
· Tariffs are not simply about trade — they are about truth.
· Tariffs enable us to choose sovereignty over servitude, labor over loopholes.
· Trade had become theft of America’s wealth. Tariffs are designed to stop the hemorrhage of our resources and return them to America.
America is at a spiritual and economic inflection point, as Trump has recognized for the last 40 years, and now has the mandate and authority as President to lead America in a stand as a beacon of righteousness, dignity, and honest labor. President Trump is leading us to reclaim control over our economic house — and has started this “cleansing of America’s economic temple” with bold, biblically-based, principled leadership, Trump is not afraid to confront those who’ve turned trade into theft. Trump’s Tariffs are that confrontation.
President Donald J. Trump now has the mandate from the American people and the authority as President to carry out policies to benefit Main Street against the self-interests of Wall Street’s global grifters pillaging and plundering the American workers Wall Street to enrich themselves. Like Jesus casting out the merchants from the temple, President Trump is undertaking a cleansing moment — a purging of corruption in service of national renewal. It is past time, and urgently needed.
