Deadly Dioxin Threat Not Disclosed in Ohio and Florida Chemical Disasters
What do Vietnam and East Palestine, Ohio, have in common?
DIOXIN.
Pound for pound, or molecule for molecule, Dioxin is more toxic than Botulin toxin. Dioxin is one of the most toxic chemical compounds known, and results from the burning of burning plastics (also referred to as “vinyl” of PCV).
Dioxin is best known as the most toxic contaminant in the “Agent Orange” defoliant used in the Vietnam War that resulted in devastating long-term health damage and cancers in our military.
Dioxin is a potent carcinogen, and also is toxic to major endocrine systems leading to infertility and long-term hormonal damage. Dioxin and similar PCBs are long-lasting in the environment and build up in the food chain (concentrated in fatty tissues) to be passed to subsequent generations via mother’s milk. Other dioxin disasters have been forgotten ⏤ Love Canal in Niagara Falls, NY, and the town of Times Beach, Missouri — but both resulted in complete closures of both areas for human inhabitation.
The plumes containing dioxin from the burning in OH and FL will spread widely beyond those local areas, causing contamination of soil, water, and air and leading to damage to wildlife and humans that could affect as much as a third of the entire country, including the richly productive Amish farming areas in Ohio and Pennsylvania where the East Palestine rail disaster occurred.
Yet tragically, media and Government officials are failing to warn Americans, especially in OH, PA, NY, and FL, that dioxin is the byproduct of TWO major February disasters: 1) the detonation and burning of rail cars containing vinyl chloride in the East Palestine, Ohio Norfolk Southern train disaster February 3, 2023. 2) The February 16, 2023, 5-acre blazing inferno of plastic planters at a massive industrial fire in Kissimmee, Florida, just a few miles from Walt Disney World.
Today’s guests are retired international attorney and business trends expert, Virginia Curry, and military CBRN expert Major Mike Gary to discuss with Dr. Vliet our physician host, the catastrophic ramifications to the whole country from the Ohio train derailment and the Florida plastics fire, the most dangerous byproduct produced at these incidents: Dioxin.
Dioxin is more poisonous than the most toxic military nerve agents. There is a ray of sunshine, however: exposure to sunlight does break down Dioxin, and there are some natural medicines that help mitigate dioxin damage.
